VAT included?

Often found products or services where the price is announced with the typical phrase, usually in small print, VAT not included or included. But there are times in which this is not specified and may cause doubt on future buyers, the question is, what should be considered in the event that nothing is said, that the VAT is included?

The solution is simple. If the buyer is a public or a private individual, the price offered by the product or service that does not specify anything in this regard, will always be considered include VAT. This means above all on the side of consumers because the law seeks to protect this group especially.

But what if the customer is a business or professional? In this case we may be required to pay VAT. First, the law does not indicate that these operations should consider VAT included so should prevail the legal requirement of charging VAT and has to be specified it in the invoice.
We advice that If you have products or services and to offer a price, it is best that you clarify whether VAT is included or not, and even more so after the recent rise in the tax rate.
