As previously announced by the government, social security reductions that were applied earlier this year for those under 30 years , have been extended to all groups of entrepreneurs , regardless of their ages .

Law 14/2013 , to support entrepreneurs and their internationalization estates that "The self-employed with 30 or more years of age that register their actvities by the very first time or who have not been self-employed in the last five years may apply the following reductions on the self-employed fees, for a maximum period of 18 months , according to the following scale: "

Therefore, the self-employed fees will decrease so far ,as they did with those under 30 , as follows :

■ 80 % reduction within the following 6 months. ( APPROX. FEE: € 51.34 )
■ 50 % reduction during the inmediate six months . ( APPROX. FEE: € 128.36 )
■ 30 % reduction for the 6 months . ( APPROX. FEE: € 179.70 )

In overall terms means savings in 18 months 53.33 % of the self-employment fees , ie instead of paying € 4,620.96 during 18 months the entrepreneur will pay € 2,156.40.

Also, the reductions will be applied to the working partners of Worker Cooperatives that are framed in the Special Regime of Social Security for Workers Self-Employed ,if they meet the requirements of those paragraphs.

Keep in mind that this does not apply to self-employed people employing workers.

Last July the Social Security Department indicated that the reduced quotas shall not be applied to the Corporations managers that are listed as self-employed, even if they don't have workers.
